Check in Instructions

I look forward to meeting you upon your arrival. Please call me at 925-818-5081 when you have arrived or have settled in. I will walk you through all the operational item for the Retreat such as the A/C Heating system, the WiFi, the entertainment systems or any other aspect of The Retreat. If you wish, you can check yourself into The Retreat follow the door instructions below. We have instruction on the operations of systems of The Retreat in the manual on the coffee table.

Directions

When driving to The Retreat, from Hwy 101 turn on to Hwy 46 West exit or Vineyard Drive exit. Drive west on Hwy 46 for 5 miles and turn right on the Vineyard Drive at the new roundabout. Vineyard Drive is the first exit right in the roundabout from Hwy 46 West. Drive on Vineyard Drive for 1 mile and turn right into 4080 Vineyard Drive. If you take the Vineyard Drive exit, drive about 4.5 miles to arrive at 4080 Vineyard Drive.

Sōna Estate is a working vineyard and winery with a few residential properties that the Brown families live in. There are two, separate, entrances. One is located at 4080 Vineyard Drive. The second is located at 3995 Willow Creek Road. Both entrances have gates and depending upon the time of day, may or may not be open. The gate at 3995 is occasionally locked. The gate at 4080 Willow Creek remains unlocked.

After you enter through the 4080 Vineyard Drive gate and drive straight up the property’s main road, do not turn. When you reach a fork in the road marked by a big rock turn left and drive up the driveway to the white house on the hill. Please park in the space provided directly in front of The Retreat. There is signage as well.

Access to the property is via two, separate, entrances. One is located at 4080 Vineyard Drive. The second is located at 3995 Willow Creek Road. Both entrances have gates and depending upon the time of day, may or may not be open. The gate at 3995 is occasionally locked. The gate at 4080 Willow Creek remains unlocked. It is recommended that you access the property via the 4080 Vineyard Drive gate and drive straight until pass the winery and The Retreat is at the top of the hill. The Retreat is the lower level of the owners house. Please park in the space provided directly in front of The Retreat.

Door Instructions

To enter The Retreat, place your hand on the keypad to “wake it up”. Then enter the last 4 digits of the phone number you provided when you booked. Next, click the checkmark key. A chime will sound and you may enter. Your personal entry code will be activated at 3:00 pm the day of check-in and will deactivate at 12:00 noon the day of checkout.

Thank you for staying at our property! We hope you enjoyed your stay and will come back again soon.

As a friendly reminder, checkout is at 11:00 am. This gives us enough time to make the property look beautiful for our next guests.

Before you head out, please make sure you have done the following:

  1. Leave used towels on the bathroom floor or in the basket.
  2. Take out any food you may have brought from the fridge and freezer. Do not leave any perishable items in the cupboards.
  3. Turn off all the lights and any electronic devices like the TVs.
  4. Turn off the thermostat.
  5. Make sure all windows and doors are closed and locked.
  6. Check each room to make sure you have not left any of your belongings behind.
  7. When you close the front door for the last time of your stay, please place your hand on the face of the digital lock to lock it.
